Health checks for government staff
The 10,000 Toes team have been busy checking the health and wellbeing of staff at the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Fiji.
Ministry staff underwent a comprehensive medical screening last week, conducted by 10,000 Toes. The screening was aimed at promoting the health and wellbeing of the staff members, ensuring they are fit and able to serve the community effectively.
Minister for Youth and Sports Jese Saukuru was present during the screening to show his support for the initiative. He emphasised the importance of staying healthy in order to better serve the community and encouraged all staff members to prioritise their health.
“The Ministry of Youth and Sports is committed to the wellbeing of its staff members and will continue to support initiatives that promote a healthy lifestyle,” said a post on the ministry’s Facebook page. “By prioritising health and wellness, the staff members will be better equipped to serve the people and contribute to the development of the nation.”
10,000 Toes is an initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific.
