Volunteer of the Year
Ivan Leahy has been named joint winner of the Ballina Volunteer of the Year award.
Ivan manages the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Op Shop in Ballina, New South Wales, Australia. It is one of many volunteer roles he holds in his local community. He also volunteers with Fish Loaves Mobile Food Kitchen and has served as the chair of the Ballina Hope Haven Women’s Refuge. Internationally, Ivan is a volunteer operations manager of Kenya Health.
“This recognition of Ivan’s contributions is a testament to his commitment to serving his community through coordinating volunteers and ensuring efficient operations,” a spokesperson for ADRA Australia said.
