WEDNESDAY 12 JULY
Morning Plenaries
The Movement of God – Steve Addison
Ministry Models: Spiritual Leadership – Maurice Valentine
- Spiritual Leadership is Crucial to Successful Leadership. This module will cover the ministry model of servant leadership from a fresh perspective involving renewing remembering their call to ministry to how to clearly articulate their personal core values to their teams to build employee engagement.
- The meeting participant will be introduced to the tools of refining an understanding of God’s personal call on their life and the clarity that comes from the articulation of personal core values to employees.
- These tools inevitably help an individual have clarity during times of personal mission drift during times of duress and or discouragement.
- Lastly, there will be an introduction to how to move employees from low engagement to highly engaged servant leaders through revival and reformation strategies.

- The Apostle Paul demonstrated a church can be birthed and grow through spiritual principles in the face of paganism. His passion, rooted in love for Christ was fundamental to establishing the Christian faith against all odds.
- Church Growth is rooted in 5 basic tenants that must be established in the life of the new believer within 6 weeks. When these are accomplished, church members become highly engaged assets for God’s kingdom and are more likely to not consider any other alternative other than being lifelong learners at the feet of Jesus.

In her writings and counsels, Ellen White paints a compelling picture of God’s leader, especially those who lead in times of crisis and at the end of time! Come and discover the core competencies required of End-Time Leaders!

Christ’s Method of Ministry

We’ll explore Jesus’ wholistic approach to mission and how we can apply it today. It’s the blueprint for an effective mission in any cultural context, and it’s a remedy for the high apostasy rate that plagues the Adventist Church.

THURSDAY 13 JULY

Ministry Models – Systems for Governance – Maurice Valentine
- Systemic Leadership is Crucial to Successful Leadership. This module will cover the ministry model of servant leadership from a fresh perspective utilizing change management and how leaders communicate and shift culture from a Biblical perspective called Power From Above.
- As demonstrated by Jesus, how the ministry of presence makes a difference in employee engagement.
- How to build team through employee one-on-ones and the use technology.
- Recalling the importance of the Priesthood of all believers, the participant will review the importance of engaging executive committee members as change champions to help define and assist with advancing the organizational agenda.

FRIDAY 14 JULY

Ethical Leadership – Maurice Valentine
- Ethical Leadership is Crucial to Successful Leadership. This module will cover the ministry model of servant leadership from a fresh perspective of putting others first and resisting ego by following Jesus’ example of self-awareness.
- The Power From Above concept will be built upon as a measure to mitigate against the temptation to lead from positional power.
- The humanistic need for more power will be addressed and its remedy in servanthood will be demonstrated.
- The impact of ministry forged by service will be reviewed

This presentation explores the attempt to restore the New Testament ideal of the priesthood of all believers during the Reformation and in Adventist history, as well as the implication of not fully returning to the New Testament ideal.

All board members have a responsibility for the financial governance of the organisation and this presentation will provide an outline of those responsibilities and some tips and tools.
