Sweet sound of hope for inmates
Adventists in New Zealand have used their musical talents to provide hope and encouragement to inmates at Rolleston Prison in Christchurch.
Over three consecutive Sundays in August, a choir from Kaiapoi Adventist Church dedicated their time and talents to fill the prison with uplifting music and messages of hope. Several inmates were moved to tears by the music.
Members of the choir were also impacted, expressing a desire to continue their involvement in visiting the prison on a regular basis. They plan to hold a special carols service at the prison in December.
